Cameron's 10th Birthday

Yes, Cameron is now 10. Think about that for a moment...
He somehow stretched his birthday celebration over two weekends. He started out with a birthday sleep over party with two of his friends. We had pizza, ice cream, and lots of video games. The next morning it was chocolate chip pancakes with a major emphasis on chocolate. They didn't even eat it all because they were excited to play.
Next was donuts for his class at school followed by the next weekend was breakfast out followed by presents of legos, kinect games, money, bow and arrow, night vision goggles, a rocket launcher, and more money. Phone calls rang in from family and Cameron topped the day off with a dance off with Mama.

Happy Birthday Cameron!!!

GOAL!!!

Next up on the sports list was soccer.  We got the boys new balls, cleats, and shin guards and they were excited to play.  I enjoyed watching them run around and mix it up with all the other boys.  Cameron scored a goal on his first game and Mason seems to enjoy playing in the middle so he can play a little of offensive and defense.  They both scored goals in my book for giving a great effort and I know they had fun along the way.  What will be next?

The Greatest Show on Earth

We went to see "The Greatest Show on Earth" and it did not disappoint. From tigers to a fire flaming human cannon ball, there was no shortage of showing stopping acts. We were all mesmerized and each of us had his/her favorite act. I think the people who do these performances are crazy, but crazy good. They train their entire life and risk it to perform. True performers. Great memories.

Delayed Halloween

This year Halloween was delayed due to Hurricane Sandy, but that was fine with me because we avoided the rain, but not the cold.  It seems like all the neighbors make it easy to trick or treat by standing on their driveways handing out candy.  So much for working hard.
Cameron was a ninja and Mason was Batman.  They don't really care about costumes as much as candy.  Cameron's favorite was Starburst and Mason's was Hershey.  Thanks for sharing boys because you got enough for Mama and I to have a bag too.
