Since people start leaving early for the holidays there were many early Christmas events this weekend. We started with carol singing and a visit with Santa.
Then we went on to Stacey's work Christmas Party. Unlike an American work Christmas Party, there was a talent contest where people would actually sing and play musical instruments in front of their coworkers. There was also a live band and we danced to a variety of English and Kazakh songs, but since I don't remember the words to any songs I didn't mind. I also had a beautiful date that evening and didn't mind that either.
