Party at the Toy Store

Mason had his 7th Birthday Party at a toy store.  Pretty cool for both him and us.  He gets to invite his friends, play with all the toys, and not pick anything up.  We get to not clean up twice, not pick up the toys, and pretty much not do anything.  Mason had a great cake and lots of gifts.  Mostly Star Wars Legos, an 8 ball, and Toys R Us gift cards.  Happy 7th Birthday Mason!!!

7 years Old - Happy Birthday Mason!!!

This has been a fun and hard week for Mason and he has done great except his body needed him to slow down on his birthday.  On Monday he had his surgery.  Tuesday was Valentine's Day and Mason wanted to go to school so I let him and then today being his birthday he had to celebrate at school with his friends.  He didn't look like he felt that great the last few days, but candy and presents always lifts his mood.  Unfortunately the school called today because he had a fever and was not feeling well.  That didn't stop him from opening his presents.  I hope he feels better tomorrow or I will have to take him with me on a job interview.   Thanks for all the presents and well wished Mason received.

Tubes Again

Since Mason kept having fluid in his ears we had to put tubes back in. Mason was a pro and ready for the surgery. I feel bad we didn't get this done sooner, but now God put us here to take care of all our medical needs. Mason had tubes put in and since his adnoids had grown back some they took those out again.

Before

A little TV and DS time before surgery

First Time Skiers

One of the great things about living in PA is that you can go skiing for the day so I decided to take the boys skiing at Boyce Ski Park about 45 minutes drive from the house.  They received an hour lesson then it was off on the magic carpet up the beginner hill.  I thought Mason would not do it, but no matter how long it took him to get down the hill he kept getting back up and trying it again.  I just loved that.  He did better than I expected and wants to go back.  Cameron was the usual.  Quick to learn and eager to do more than he is ready for.  He of course wants to go back.  We shall.
