Photography Outing

Since we got a new SLR camera for Christmas, I decided to take pictures of Atyrau while the snow was on the ground.  A group of us went to snap the usual places.  We barred the -20F weather and after 2 hours were ready to thaw out.  I got some great shots.  Check and see.

First Time Fishing

Cameron keeps asking me to take him fishing and it is not that easy where we live in KZ so in Houston he starts back up again and this time I made it happen.  It was not on a boat.  We did not catch any fish.  Not even a nibble, but we still had fun.  I am sure we will go again.  When? That is a good question.

Mason turn 6

Mason wanted to have a bowling party for his 6 birthday and I had everything lined up, but mid day I found out that there was no company taxis and I did not want to be stuck at a bowling alley with 12 kids all night so we had a white out party instead.  It had been snowing on and off for the past two days so we decided to play in the snow first, come inside for hot chocolate, chips, candy, cotton candy (okay I may have gone overboard on the candy part), popcorn, watch a movie, then cupcakes with a happy birthday song thrown in. 
Mason and all the children had a great time.  When asked the next day what was his favorite part Mason said, "The presents".

Chucky Cheese Again

Everytime we go to Houston the boys want to go to Chucky Cheese.  I guess so.  Pizza, drinks and VIDEO GAMES.  This time Mee Maw came with us. 
One thing I know is that the games stay the same, but the boys keep growing. Mason is also terrified of seeing the real Chucky Cheese. This is why we have not been to Disney. Maybe one day he will not be afraid.
